HCR Award Nominations
Do you know a teacher, counselor, or support professional who has started a program beyond his or her classroom or the school community to advance the causes of human and civil rights?
Perhaps this person has started a club or activity in your school or community to advance gender or racial equity.
Maybe he/she is supporting a project started by community leaders.
Is this person helping to close the achievement gap?
This individual might work with classes, electives, or special projects that promote the study of peace education so students can learn to solve problems without violence, works to further an understanding of diversity, or helps to fulfill the HCR Mission.
If so, nominate that professional for the PCTA-PESPA Human and Civil Rights Award.
