Marilyn's November 2007 Message

The month of November brings a continuation of a busy year for PEER.  Our regular meeting will be held on Monday, November 19, at the PCTA Office.  At the meeting:

• We especially invite our pre-retired members to join us and learn more about PEER.
• Breakfast will be provided by our University of Florida Gator alums and fans. It will begin at 9:30 and promises to bring you a lot of Orange and Blue.  Come socialize as we enjoy having breakfast together.
• Our program will be presented by the West Coast Orchid Society.
• PEER Membership Directories for 2007-08 and membership cards will be distributed.
• Please remember to bring your volunteer hours and items for the Food Pantry which needs additional food at this time of the year.
• Prior to the breakfast and meeting, we will be stuffing membership packets for use in January.

Extra hands are needed on November 12!!  We will be printing and mailing the Pipeline, the Membership Directory, and materials for the countywide retirement seminar in January.  If you are available, please come to the PCTA Office at 9:30.

If you have not joined PEER this year, you can still do it.  Annual dues are $46 and lifetime membership is $400.  Dues can be sent to the PCTA Office, 650 Seminole Boulevard, Largo 33770, att:  Carol Justice.  Thinking about becoming a member?  You are invited to attend any of our meetings so you can see what PEER is all about!
