Marilyn's January 2008 Message

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  I hope you have a healthy, happy year and that 2008 will be a wonderful year for you.

Our January meeting will be held on January 28. Please note that this is the 4^th Monday of the month due to the observation of Martin Luther King's birthday on our regular meeting day. The PCTA Office will be closed on that day. Our breakfast and socializing will begin at 9:30 and be followed by our meeting at 10:00.  Dr. Clayton Wilcox, Superintendent of the Pinellas County Schools, is the scheduled speaker.

Remember to bring canned goods for the Food Pantry to the meeting. Also, don't forget your volunteer hours.  At this meeting, we will be discussing ideas for themes for PEER baskets which are donated to the Silent Auction at the FEA Delegate Assembly in October. Put your thinking caps on!!

Our next Pipeline will be printed in February.  If you have a report or an article for our newsletter, please send it to me no later than January 31.

I hope to see you at our January meetings, as well as our other meetings throughout the year.  PEER has a lot of activities in which to be involved as well as terrific people who share the love of education and children.  Make a resolution to make PEER a part of your life!!
