Marilyn's April Message
Welcome to the wonderful month of April and another wonderful month of PEER. Our meeting will be held on Monday, April 21. The program this month focuses on Nutrition and Diet and will be presented by Ann Jackisch. Breakfast begins at 9:30 followed by our meeting at 10:00.
At the April meeting, we will be having nominations for PEER President and Vice-President. In May, there will be further nominations and elections. Also, we will be electing our representative to the AFT convention which will be held in
Also, at this meeting, we will be preparing packets for the annual PCTA/PESPA Retirement Celebration in May. Can you help with these packets? If so, please come a little earlier to the breakfast so we can get it done. This is one of our major membership drives of the year and the Celebration is a good place for us to begin with new retirees.
Our PEER Scholarship winner for this year has been selected. Come to the April meeting and hear the essay she submitted!

Donations for the PEER baskets for the Silent Auction at the FEA Delegate
Assembly in October. Our themes this year are “Fun and Games” and
“Gourmet for the Mind and Body.”
FEA-R (Florida Education Association-Retired) sponsors a Silent Auction at the FEA DA each year. The monies collected go toward scholarships. If you have any new or gently used items to donate, you may bring them to
