An important message from the AFT e-Activist Network:
We are witnessing another Bush administration attack on working Americans. In an attempt to roll back or undo the Family and Medical Leave Act's (FMLA) hard-won worker protections, the Department of Labor (DOL) in February proposed changes to FMLA regulations that will make it more difficult for workers to use FMLA if needed. We hope you will take the time to protest and comment on the proposed changes.

SUPPORT OF EDUCATION REFERENDUM
WHEREAS, the Citizens of Pinellas County voted in November of 2004 to allow the School Board to levy up to one half mill for “necessary operating expenses including funds to recruit and retain high quality teachers; preserve reading programs and music and art classes; and provide up-to-date textbooks and technology, with oversight of these expenditures by an independent citizens financial oversight committee; and
