PCTA Contract Questions
1. Will the two-prep limit require the re-structuring of programs that operate on a self-contained basis, such as Drop-Out Prevention or ESE Self-contained programs? Will these need to be broken up along subject-matter departmental lines?
The answer is no. This language was not intended to require a re-structuring of such programs.

PESPA contract for ratification
PESPA negotiators have reached agreement with the district on new contract terms for 2008-2011. The terms cover all rights and working conditions except salary and benefits. In light of the current difficult financial situation and uncertain school funding, both the district and PESPA agreed to ratify the rest of the contract while continuing to negotiate over pay and benefits for 2009-2010.
