Supporting Services Application for Extended School Year is now available via the Internet on PCS form 3-2388.

Applicants can complete the application on-line, print the application, sign and submit to the Principal for his/her signature and evaluation information.  The support employee should then make a copy of the signed application for his/her records, and submit the original form to SUPPORTING SERVICES TEAM, Human Resources, Administration Building.  Copies of completed applications will not be accepted and faxes will not be accepted.

                        THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION IS MARCH 17TH.


SUPPORTING SERVICES APPLICANTS:

Staffing for supporting services will again be limited this year and will only be located at Stephens Ex St Ed Center, Sanders Exceptional, Hamilton Disston, Calvin Hunsinger, Nina Harris Ex St Ed Center, Dunedin Elem, High Point Elem & Fairmount Park Elem.  There will be ESY Secretary-Elementary, ESY Data Prep Clerks, ESY ESE Associates, ESY Registered Physical Therapy Assistants, ESY Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and ESY Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired positions available.

There will also be ESY Food Service Assistant positions available, hours to be established per needs of the program.

As always, we will be in need of ESE Associates in the Pre-Kindergarten area.  If you are interested in working with Pre-K students the requirements are as follows:

Must have had documented experience in a Pre-K setting; be able to lift 40 pounds (diaper changing); be able to get up and down from the floor quickly; be able to run and move quickly; be able to withstand summer heat for periods of time when children are outside; be able to deal with children’s body fluids; be able to ride the bus; be able to raise arms above shoulders.

The following schedule is planned for the appointment of Supporting Services Personnel for the various 2008 ESY programs.

February 29              Applications made available via the Intranet.

March 17                  Application deadline.

April 21                    Notifications to all Supporting Services ESY applicants

June 23 - July 25      Extended School Year


July 4                      School will not be in session on July 4


NOTE:  The Supporting Services Application for Extended School Year is only for the Extended School Year program.  It does not pertain to the VPK or Reading Camp programs.
